Gift Box Set

In 2022, I spearheaded the creative direction for a brand-new product category: Gift Box Sets. This initiative involved overseeing the entire process, from marketplace research and competitor shopping to design execution and product layout. The goal was to create a high-end gift experience that appealed to distinct customer bases for three brands: All-Clad®, T-fal®, and RITZ®.

I was responsible for every aspect of the gift box design, including choosing the box size, materials, interior and exterior design, and product placement. A key design element was ensuring the boxes were both eco-conscious and visually appealing. I sourced recyclable padding materials to safely fill the space, while the packaging itself was built to showcase the products beautifully. The boxes featured branded tissue paper as the standout element, paired with a matte finish and a custom interior pattern.

In addition to the packaging design, I directed the product photography and copywriting. It was crucial to maintain brand consistency while tailoring the messaging and visuals to each brand’s unique audience. I designed a postcard for each set, detailing the contents, and created promotional copy to help sell the sets on e-commerce platforms.

The final gift box sets, which were available through Macy’s, QVC, Walmart, Amazon, and Target, successfully captured the high-end, exclusive feel we were aiming for, while appealing to each brand's specific customer base.
